I have 3 companies as friends on facebook. Bison Bowling Utrecht, Tivoli Utrecht and Katoenfabriek Utrecht. I used to work at the first two and the last one is a cool clothing store.

How many companies do you have as friends on facebook? What kind of companies are these? And why did you add them?

I’ve got three companies. One is Douwe Egberts because I worked there, they are not active so it’s no use having hem actually.

The second is an online website I love with hand-made jewelry and such, I signed up because this way I can stay up to date. She posts when she made some new jewelry, has many nice contests and also a blog which I like to read. It’s just a fun ‘brand’.

The third is the Bodyshop. I only added them because of a contest. But they are still on my friends page and they are really active with price discounts and stuff. But I never do anything with the information they post.

I’ve got a lot of music-software related companies such as Ableton, Native Instruments, Maschine. Art-related things like The Art Department, ImagineFX and game-related things like Eidos Montreal who makes Deus EX 3.

I joined them mostly as a way for getting news-updates about new features, software-updates or general news. Or in the case of Ableton even discounts.
